Broccoli soup


Ingredients:
A small broccoli
2 Carrot
2 onions - chopped
2 tomatoes.
2 Garlic cloves

Procedure:
Cut the broccoli in to small florets. Put it in the salt water and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
Take some butter in a kadai and sauté the chopped onions.
Remove the skin of the carrot and cut it into small pieces.
Take a kadai and cook the carrots, garlic cloves, two tomatoes, broccoli florets, sauted onions.
After removing it from the fire, cool it and remove the skin of the tomatoes and put it into the mixie and grind it.
Now your broccoli soup is ready. Serve hot with salt and pepper powder.

Potato Cheese balls



Ingredients:
Boiled peeled smashed Potatoes – 2 nos.
Onion – 1
Cooked Green peas – few
Bread crumps
Corn flour
Ginger Garlic paste
Chilli Powder
Garam Masala Powder
Salt
Oil for frying
Butter
Cheese

Procedure:
1.       Cut the onion in to small pieces and then take some butter in a kadai and sauté the onion.
2.       Take the boiled, smashed potatoes, cooked green peas, fried onion. Add little salt, chilly powder, garam masala powder, little ginger garlic paste and mix it well. Make this mixture into small balls with a little bit of cheese inside each balls and keep it aside.
3.       Then take some cornflour, little salt, garam masala powder, chilli powder and add water and make it as a mixture in the consistency of a thin liquid.
4.       Take some oil in the kadai and heat it.
5.       Dip the balls in the cornflour mixture and then dip it again the bread crumps powder and put it in the oil and deep fry it.
Your Potato cheese balls is ready. Serve hot with tomato sauce.

idiyappam




Idiyappam:
1 cup of Idli rice / raw rice.
Salt.

Soak the rice for 4 hours and grind it as if you grind for dosa batter. The consistency should be of that of dosa batter. Now you grease the idli plates with oil and keep it in the cooker. After the idli’s are cooked put it in the idiyappam machine and now your idiyappam is ready.

Kadai vegetables


Kadai Vegetables:
Ingredients:
Green capsicum – ½
Yellow Capsicum – ½
Red Capsicum – ½
Garam masala powder – ½ tea spoon
Onion – 2 nos.
Paneer – 100 gms.
Ginger Garlic Paste
Tomato – 2 nos.
Chilli powder – 1 tea spoon
Fresh cream – 1 table spoon.

1.  Cut the onions into medium pieces and separate it into single layers.
2.  Slice the green, yellow and red capsicum into thin pieces.  
3. Slice paneer into thin pieces.
4. Take two tomatoes, put it in the hot water, remove the skin and cut into small pieces.
5. Take a kadai, add little oil fry the onions till golden brown.
6. Then add ginger garlic  paste, chilli powder and garam masala powder and sauté for few seconds. 
7. Then add tomatoes and sauté for 1 minute.
8. Then add all the capsicums and sauté for 2 minutes.
9. Keep the stove in simmer and cover it with the lid for 5 minutes.
10. Don’t forget to stir the vegetables in between.
11.  After all the vegetables are cooked add salt and paneer.
12. Keep stirring for few more minutes.
13. Then add very little kasuri methi. Lastly add the fresh cream and mix it well and switch off the stove.
Your kadai vegetable is ready.
